Application Guide — Please Read Before You Begin

Follow these guidelines to complete your membership registration successfully.

Documents & Information You Will Need

  • A valid email address and phone number including country code (e.g. +44 7700 000000)
  • Your Igbo State of Origin, Local Government Area (LGA), Community, Town and Kindred name
  • Next of Kin details — full name, phone number, email address, relationship and home address
  • Emergency Contact details — may be the same person as your Next of Kin
  • A valid debit or credit card for the one-time registration fee of £100
  • Student Membership only: your Student ID number from your university or college

Your 9-Step Registration Form

  1. Personal Information: Your full name and contact details
  2. Residential Address: Your current UK or Irish home address and postcode
  3. State of Origin: Your Igbo ancestral details and nearest UK or Ireland chapter
  4. Membership Type: Choose Student, Individual or Family membership (one-time £100 fee for all types)
  5. Next of Kin: Contact details of your next of kin
  6. Emergency Contact: Person to be contacted in an emergency
  7. Review: Check all entered information before final submission
  8. Declaration & Signature: Read, accept and electronically sign the membership declaration
  9. Payment: Complete your secure one-time payment to activate your membership immediately

This person will be contacted in an emergency. May be the same as your Next of Kin.

Declaration of Membership — Ohanaeze Ndigbo UK & Ireland

I, the undersigned, hereby apply for membership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo UK & Ireland and solemnly declare that:

  1. All information provided in this application is true, accurate, and complete to the best of my knowledge.
  2. I am of Igbo descent or have a genuine and recognised connection to the Igbo community.
  3. I agree to uphold and abide by the Constitution and By-Laws of Ohanaeze Ndigbo UK & Ireland.
  4. I understand that payment of the registration fee confirms and immediately activates my membership with Ohanaeze Ndigbo UK & Ireland.
  5. I acknowledge that the registration fee is non-refundable once payment has been processed.
  6. I consent to my personal data being held and processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and the organisation’s Privacy Policy.
  7. I agree to receive communications relating to my membership, including community announcements.
  8. I understand that providing false or misleading information may result in immediate cancellation of my membership without refund.
